An October 24 race update

On October 24, we shared a race update about Valentino, whom we call Tino. As our family prepares for his first international race in Okinawa this December, we are recording the experiences he is gathering in Korea. This chapter remembers a day when he kept going after a fall.

Getting up and riding on

Tino fell during a semifinal. He got up and rode to the finish. Our family’s update that day was a message of encouragement for him. Alongside the fall, we want to remember the riding that followed.

Thank you for cheering

We also thanked everyone who cheered for Tino. The people following his races and encouraging him are part of this family journey. Thank you for sharing a day we will remember for the way he continued to the finish.

Preparing for the next start

Our next planned event is the KBF race on November 7. Then, on December 5, Tino is preparing to race at Runbike International Race 2026 in Okinawa. We plan to continue practice around his condition and interest while preparing the bike and the family’s travel arrangements.

Our Okinawa travel supporters

Thank you to Oriental Hotel Okinawa Resort & Spa (@okinawa.oriental.hotel) for supporting our accommodation on the upcoming Okinawa trip, and to eSIM4Travel for providing a Japan travel eSIM. Future chapters will share our preparations and what we experience during the trip. Thank you for following Tino toward his next start.
